Michael Charles Band Canceled
Due to unforseen circumstances, The Michael Charles Band and Danny Burton have been forced to cancel their spots at the PBC on Tuesday 11 March.
Replacing them will be singer-songwriter Jeff Strong, and local band Stingray. Paul Felton's band The Gators will play the late spot as scheduled.
Hans Theessink - exclusive gig @ the PBC
When Dutchman Hans Theessink takes the stage at the Perth Blues Club on Tuesday 4 March 2008, it will be his only gig in Western Australia, and it should not be missed by any self-respecting blues fan.
Probably Europe's No.1 blues export and one of the top
blues and roots musicians worldwide, Hans is embarking on a 30-date solo tour of Australia and New Zealand in the new year to promote his latest CD, Slow Train.

PBC @ Blues and Roots Festival
For the first time, the Perth Blues Club - Perth's premiere blues venue - will have a stall at this year's West Coast Blues and Roots Festival.
The PBC has been presenting local, national and international acts every Tuesday at the Charles Hotel since 1992.
The PBC stall will be in the market area of the festival and will be taking new memberships* as well as selling a new range of merchandise, including men's and ladies tee-shirts, badges, stubby holders, stickers etc, to raise funds for the club and enable us to bring you more of the best of blues and roots.
Come along and support the Perth Blues Club - your local and longest running blues venue in WA.

Reviews
Many of you who visit the website regularly will have noticed that we've not had any reviews of receny gigs. Unfortunately, our volunteer reviewer Katy has increasing work committments and is unable to contiune writing for us.
We put our a request for reviewers and have received a number of responses from keen members, so we hope to be able to reinstate our weekly reviews very soon. In the meantime, we hope you continue to enjoy the excellent photographs take each week by our volunteer photographer Jason. You can view Jason's work in the Photo Gallery.

The Perth Blues Club is run entirely by volunteers who care deeply about the Blues.
The club has a range of opportunities for volunteering such as
leaflet/poster delivery, raffle ticket sellers, "meet and greet" team
on the door, etc.
