Budweiser, makers of the "Great American Lager", have come to the party with a great promotion. The first 200 people to arrive at the Perth Blues Club's Mardi Gras 2009 will go into a draw to win one of 10 cartons of Budweiser Beer.

As patrons arrive, the first 200 will be given a ticket and the winning numbers will be drawn at intervals throughout the day.

The Perth Blues Club's Mardi Gras is a New Orleans-style celebration of Perth's Blues and Jazz heritage.

During the day, the 13 acts will rotate on the two outdoor stages, providing non-stop music and celebration. Then, at 7.30pm, we move inside to the Voodoo Stage for the headline acts - Victoria Newton, Rick Steele Band, The Zydecats and, to wrap up the event, the legendary Texan guitarist and self-confessed Aussie-phile Eugene 'Hideaway' Bridges.

So get your tickets now from Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com.au), Mills Records (Fremantle), 78 Records, Planet Video, the Charles Hotel bottleshop or the Perth Blues Club (any Tuesday night), and make sure you turn up early to be in the running for a "Box of Buds".
