Since forming in 2003, The Mike Elrington Band has shown promise as one of the most exciting, young Blues/Rock power trio's in Australia today. Combining the passionate & raw elements of electric blues and the explosive elements of gutsy, gritty three-piece rock, the band presents a fresh and innovative style of Blues/Rock that incorporates innovative song-writing and an exceptionally tight, high-energy live show. Over the last three years, since releasing the critically acclaimed Too Good to be True album, the band has toured extensively throughout Australia, averaging 150+ shows a year and appearing at a wide range of venues and festivals. In 2006, the Mike Elrington Band completed its first international tour of 25 shows across the United States/Canada, playing to packed houses in Blues & Rock clubs from San Francisco to New York. Fiercely independent, the band members pride themselves on taking a grassroots approach to their career by touring relentlessly to build a fan base and being self-managed along the way. Currently working on their 2nd album Six Feet Under a Dream with producer Peter "Reggie" Bowman, the band continues to tour extensively. A must see for all lovers of high-energy, explosive and gritty Blues/Rock. On stage at 11pm
