Tickets $10/$5 PBC Members James Southwell has been playing Guitar & Singing since he was only 7 years old. He’s played on stage with Chain, The Kevin Borich Express, Phil Manning, Stevie Wright and a host of other well known Australian artists. James is heavily influenced by these players as well as Geoff Achison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Hendrix & Joe Walsh. James was also Angry Andersons Lead Guitarist at a resent festival. He currently has two projects; a Solo Acoustic Show and a high energy electric trio James Southwell's Judgement. James writes his own material as well as playing some very well thought out covers. He is a wonderful singer and a very accomplished Guitarist, and has just released his first studio album Dark Angel which features some of Australia's finest and well known musicians, including Kevin Borich, Mal Eastick, Phil Emmanuel, Harry Brus, Mark Kennedy & more. Dark Angel was produced by Kevin Borich and recorded at Kevin's studio The Vibrating House" on the Sunshine Coast. James' trio is a fantastic outfit and will have your dance floor rockin. On stage @ 9.45pm. Born in, England, Paul O'Brien, was raised in WA, but is now Sydney based. The guitarist is well known as the former leader of popular Blues band Paul O’Brien and Thundershuffle; winning a WAMI award for Best Blues Song in ’96. He also won ‘Best Blues Artist’ at the MusicOz awards, which recognises outstanding independent musicians, in 2004 and he’s a regular at Australia’s premier Blues festivals, including the Blues At Bridgetown Festival, the Narooma Blues Festival and the Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn.
