GERARD MAUNICK: Mauritian born, WA based Gerard Maunick (left) has just returned from Finland where, out of 118 entrants from 23 represented countries, he took out The Public's Favourite, The Artist's Favourite and was 1^st runner up at the Lakeside Blues Festival - a great result for both Gerard and the Perth blues scene.

So Perth's own international award winning master of cosmopolitan colour, singer/songwriter/guitarist Maunick returns to mix it up with his exotic songstress, Tina-Simone and band. METHYL ETHEL & THE FABULOUS KEYTONES: Local 4 piece outfit ‘The Methyls' (right) will deliver a dose of their aromatic grooves incorporating the earthy power of early funk and the subtle moods of soul, served up with plenty of blues passion and a little quirk on the side.

With vocalist Deb ‘Methyl Ethyl' Miller on Hammond organ and electric pianos, Ralph Miller on bass, Pete Nessfield on guitar and vocals and Warren Wightman on drums, ‘The Methyls' cook up a feel good vibe with plenty of fire to inspire. You won't be able to resist The Methyl's charms.
