Featuring

  • Imports
  • Derrin Nauendorf
  • Resonator

Tickets: $10/$5 PBC Members

The Imports are a four-piece R&B band based in Perth. Paul Schnitzler honed his voice & guitar skills in blues and rock clubs in Germany before moving to Perth several years ago. Any fan of live blues passing through Singapore in the 90's may have seen Gordon Jansen playing drums with Heritage or the Elephant Jam in the famous Crazy Elephant blues bar.  Lead guitarist Phil Brannigan, having learned his craft in London, was also a regular feature at the Crazy Elephant through the 90's. Peter Lenz's handles bass for The Imports and, having spent 15 years in South Africa, just about qualifies as "Imported". This is not laid back lazy12-bar blues. This is high-octane, in-yer-face R&B.

Derrin Nauendorf: An intense and raw performer, Derrin works best in the live setting - it is, after all, how he got his reputation - and he is on the cusp of bigger things. www.derrinnauendorf.com

Resonator: One of Perth's most entertaining cover bands, Resonator play pub rock & boogie classics from a wide range of styles, including electric rock, lowdown blues, acoustic country and funky grooves. The history of Resonator goes back to around '98 or '99, when they were hosting regular jam nights around Perth in various line-ups. The current line-up of Geoff, Mal and Ric was established around the end of '99, although any performance may include a visit from a guest performer. A three-piece outfit with a big, fat and fulfilling sound, they have been joined on stage by the likes of Matt Taylor, Lindsay Wells, Powershift, Rick Steele, Lloyd Spiegel, and John Meyers, to name but a few!

Coming Soon:

  • Electromen, Roofshakers, Simon Cox & Wayne Freer 7/8
  • Gerard Maunick Band, Methyl Ethyl & the Fabulous Keytones and The Dirt 14/8
  • Annual General Meeting & The Midnight Specials 21/8
  • Best of British with Empire Blues, Dr Charlie & Gary Cox (solo) 28/8
