Dr Charlie 9.15pm
Damon Carron Band 10.30pm
The Adam Hole & Marji Curran Trio (Syd) 8.00pm

Doctor Charlie is a five piece local Blues Band. Their songs consists of re-arranged Blues standards and lesser known Blues tunes.  The origins of the material span the spectrum of Blues from the early pioneers such as Elmore James and Muddy Waters, through to the Modern style of Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Rolling Stones.

The musical style of the band is essentially driving and hard edged in the tradition of English blues Legend John Mayall.  Kevin "Charlie" Scott toured the UK extensively during the '60s and '70s. Opening for many of the name acts of the day including Fairport Convention, Manfred Mann and Joe Cocker, and was even once supported by Pink Floyd!

Damon Carron has been playing the blues for nearly 20 years in and around the Perth music scene.  So the first question many people ask is, "Why haven't we heard of this guy?" Well "Damo" likes to keep a low profile and let his music do the talking, which in these times of media hype and spin doctoring doesn't seem to get an artist too far.

Hopefully all that is about to change, following the release of his debut album at Bridgetown Blues Festival 2007.  The CD features some awesome blues playing from Damon on guitar, dobro, mandolin and 12-string.  Damo's influences include - Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Robin Trower, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Deryk Trucks. He's a true talent and not to be missed.

The Adam Hole & Marji Curran Trio are one of Australia's most exciting live acts on the Australian circuit today. Marji's exceptional song writing, distinct vocals and guitar playing combined with the musical talents from one of Australia's hottest slide guitarist Adam Hole and percussionist extraordinaire Phoebe Juskevics leave audiences wanting more after every show. With Adam Hole on slide guitars giving a raw, real gutsy sound and foot stomping grooves the Audience are captured straight away.

This foot stomping, awesome slide guitar, driving and experimental rhythms Trio have been wowing audiences all over Australia. They deliver songs with a powerful edge and an engaging stage chemistry that is luring crowds from everywhere.  The trio have delivered show-stopping performances at festivals both here and in New Zealand, and have shared the stage & played alongside some of Australia's top artists including Jeff Lang, Dallas Frasca, Marshall and The Fro, Ash Grunwald just to name a few.
