Paul Yates CD Launch

Featuring

  • Paul Yates and guests
  • The Re-Mains (postponed*)

*Please note that the Re-mains were due to perform on this show, but unfortunately cannot make it due to a car accident while on the road touring. Thankfully, all band members are ok, but are unable to complete their tour. Stay tuned for details about replacement dates for them sometime in the future.

Tickets: $10/$5 PBC Members

Catch Paul Yates and his Blues Groove, bringing you all the blues greats with a new vibe and presenting their new album Mr Bowman.  These boys have their chops down to a T, with drummer Warren Daley, bass player David Wood, Paul Millard on sax and Mark Underwood on trumpet laying down a scorching rhythm section.

Although ringing riffs, screaming solos and thumping rhythm keep you dancing, Paul and his band still remain faithful to the spirit of traditional blues, and pay homage to all the usual suspects including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Albert Collins, Jimmy Reed, Sonny Terry, and Muddy Waters.

Paul and his Blues Groove stamp their mark as one of Australia's newest blues acts and are sure to get the crowd going. www.perthband.com/paulyates

The Re-mains are a pioneering original country rock and roll outfit from the far north of NSW. In their two-and-a-half year tenure at the coalface of country rock and roll their banjo and pedal-steel powered dirt-track dirges have won them devoted fans and critical acclaim across two-thirds of Australia and even parts of Europe. Their music has been likened to influences as diverse as The Band, Nick Cave , Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons, The Who and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

Coming Soon:

  • Electromen, Roofshakers, Simon Cox & Wayne Freer 7/8
  • Gerard Maunick Band, Methyl Ethyl & the Fabulous Keytones and The Dirt 14/8
  • Annual General Meeting & The Midnight Specials 21/8
  • Best of British with Empire Blues, Dr Charlie & Gary Cox (solo) 28/8
