Two Australian Blues legends have joined forces to produce an unrivaled show for Blues and Soul fans - Billy Neal and Lez Karski.

Blues singer and saxophonist Billy Neal won the hearts of Poland when he sung at Sopot Festival in 2011.

He has since performed all over Poland and recorded three CDs with the late Jarek Smietana, and worked with many stars including violinist Nigel Kennedy (UK), Krzysztof Scieranski, Wojtek Karolak, Adam Czerwinski, Hanna Banaszak, Ryszard Rynkowski, and Marek Raduli.

In Poland and the UK, Chicago and Australia the Polish musicians include Pawel Tomaszewski (Hammond Organ), Adam Czerwinski (Drums) and Tomasz Kupiec (Bass). They and Billy are currently touring with the charismatic English violinist Nigel Kennedy, with dates at the Sydney Opera House and Perth Concert Hall.

Lez Karski (founder member of Bondi Cigar) is the unique vocal & guitar style of the Hippos, Bondi Cigars, Foreday Riders & Nervous Investors. He is, as you would expect, a top-shelf Australian blues and soul player, with a hint of country for good measure.

Always engaging and dynamic, Lez’s unique guitar and vocal style is blues at its best.

We are delighted to welcome Billy Neal with Lez Karski and "very special" international guests to the Perth Blues Club on Tuesday 7 February.
