Plans are under way for this year's Festival of the Fret - and annual event that celebrates the guitar in all its variations. As usual, the event will feature a house band, with a host of guest guitarists, each keen to show off their particular style.

Coupled with the event, the club is planning to run another guitar raffle (following the success of last year's) and to draw the winning ticket on that night.

As with the weekly raffle, all monies collected go towards the running of the club, so this year we're looking for more members to help us sell tickets up to and including the night of the draw.

Apart from the main prize, there will be a range of other prizes, so you can feel comfortable selling tickets to your workmates, friends and relatives. We'll also give a Blues Club Prize Pack to the member that sells the most tickets.

So come along and help your club continue to be the best blues club in Australia. Make yourself known to any committee member on a Tuesday night and we'll get back to you when we're ready to start the sales.
