Morgan Freeman, Veteran actor and part owner of the Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarkesdale, Mississippi, was injured in a car crash earlier this week.

Freeman is recovering in hospital and the Committee of the Perth Blues Club sent an email on behalf of the club and its members, wishing him a speedy recovery.

The Ground Zero Blues Club is housed in an old cotton store and modelled on the original "Juke Joints" of the Mississippi delta. One of our members, Gil Field, recently visited the club and we'll be publishing his account on the website soon.
