ElectroMen came about as a fluke, like an accidental chemical reaction between two volatile compounds, we were faced with something that took off and created a life of it's own.

A chain of circumstances delivered the band square in the lap of Poons Head Studios in Fremantle, Western Australia...close to God and the Ocean ...where the highly eccentric master of severe sound, Robbie Grant managed to capture the mayhem on fat two-inch tape.

Over the past couple of years, ElectroMen have popped up in various spots on the Perth indie and roots scenes. Very excitedly, they entered their very first band comp in 2004, and won a heat in the Next Big Thing.

Every ElectroMan has been playing gigs all over the joint in bands like The Vibrolators, Dixie Outlaws, Lynwood Slim Band, the Zydecats and The Waifs. Combining the varied roots, rockabilly and blues sentiments of Hank Deberitz, Captain Kennie Fuller, Ben Franz, Yugon Chobanoff and GBN Bushby, with infectious hooklines, swampy jangle and serious crunch, to a backdrop of Bassendean lad Johnnie Briggs' art ...here they are ...ElectroMen !!
