It's that time of year again when the Perth Blues Club presents one of the most popular special event nights, "Harp Attack - a celebration of the Blues Harp".

The night will be hosted by well known harmonica player and front-man Diamond Dave Billing with his band the Doodaddies, plus a 'blow-in' of special guests.

The door open early at 6.45pm and the traditional FREE workshop will start at 7.00pm. Please bring a Diatonic 10-hole harmonica in the Key of 'C ' if you wish to partake in a beginners lesson.

On show is a display of harmonicas, microphones and equipment. If you're not taking part in the workshop, have a chat with other like-minded harmonica enthusiasts and find out about the WA Harmonica Club.

Entry: $15.00 / $10.00 (members)

Our special guests are highly experienced WA performers.

Opening the show will be the 'Capper Bros' - Brad Capper blowing his harps with his partner in music Dave Capper. Brad teaches group workshops and runs 'Harp Attack' selling and promoting new products for the harmonica enthusiast.

Chris Parkinson will be up next and will wow you with some inspiring playing.

Howie Smallman is a brilliant Chicago Blues Harp player from many bands, but recently the 'Hips' and a fair while back now the 'Sneekers' and now 'Big Time Players '.

Paul Walter Daly is well known as the front man with the Heavy Hitters. He is a powerhouse RnB player and will be blowing the back off his Tin Sandwiches with his beautiful custom Turner Microphone.

The DooDaddies featuring Dave Brewer (Electric Guitar) , John Wilson (Upright and Electric Bass) and Yugon Chobanoff (Drums) will back our special guests, as well as performing a set with front-man harp player Dave Billing.

The plan is to get some jamming happening in the last set, pull a few Harpists from the crowd, encourage some spontaneity and have a huge amount of fun.

Dancing is encouraged and there will be Harp related prizes- thanks to Mando Harp.
