Eligibility This application is open to all Western Australian original bands, live electronic acts, duos and solo artists. DJ applications have also opened apply via the DJ at Hyper tab. Duos or bands must have at least 50% of band members under 30 years old. Solo acts must be under 30 years old. All acts must be able to perform at least 20 minutes worth of original music. The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) and First Nations Media Australia (FNMA) just announced First Sounds, a new and unique initiative to get more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists heard across Australian radio airwaves.
