We have by law to make some changes to our Rules of Association (constitution). These changes are required by Commerce WA, part of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.

To do this we need to call a Special General Meeting on the 18th June at 7.30 pm. The meeting should only take about 15 minutes, then we will have our normal Tuesday night show.

There are only two changes to be made to the Rules of Association, but we need to obtain our members' approval.

We urge members to attend the meeting as we need a quorum to proceed with the changes and to meet our legal obligations.

Following the meeting we have two bands: Jack Royal & the Hot Shot Playboys (8.00pm) and Richard Roberts & Friends (9.30pm).

ENTRY: $20.00 (General Admission) | $10.00 (Members)

Those Wild West Coast Hipsters of the Blues, The Vibrolators are back with special appearance by the wonderful Miss Peta Lee.

Featuring all four original members plus Miss Peta Lee, the band’s new self-titled CD showcases some of their latest original tunes. Miss Peta Lee is WA's premier exponent of the raw Rhythm and Blues vocal styles pioneered by many female singers in the 1940s and '50s .

If seriously swinging grooves and a sultry, sassy RnB vocal floats your boat, well you are on the right track with The Vibrolators featuring Miss Peta Lee.

Supporting the band are Two Trains (7.30pm) and Dr Charlie & the Blue Healers (9.45pm).

UBlues Band from Singapore

Supergroup Universal Blues Band – the spearhead of the Singapore blues scene – is here for ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Ublues was born literally out of the Perth Blues Club when Rick Steele introduced Danny Loong to Trevor Jalla in 1999 at the Bridgetown Blues. The rest as they say is history with Ublues recording their first album “Get on the blues train” with Joe Whittle and Phil Arena in Fremantle.

Ublues continued to perform around Perth from 1999-2001 at the PBC and once more at Bridgetown, after which Danny and Trevor moved to Singapore and were based there from 2001 to 2005. During that time, they performed at many of Singapore’s key events and clubs, but also organized their own music festival “Ublues Fest” from 2002 to 2003 featuring Perth musicians Rick Steele, Chelsea Gibson and Blue Shaddy Band during those 2 years.

Ublues in Singapore was joined by Francis Chan on bass and Gary Tan on drums. The band started performing overseas notably being the first ever Asian band to play at Byron BayBlues Fest and did so for a total of 3 years. Then came the Barcelona Blues Festival in Spain, Jakarta Blues Festival as well as gigs in other parts of Asia and in the Memphis USA “International Blues Challenge”. They even played on Buddy Guy’s Legends stage in Chicago with Buddy looking on.

We are proud and elated to return to its roots at The Perth Blues Club on 14 May to perform at the venue which started this wondrous musical journey. The band are very grateful to Rick, the Steele family and the members of the Perth Blues Club for the support all those years.

Universal Blues will be joined on stage by former member Trevor Jalla who now lives in Perth.

Supports are Hot Biscuit Band (7.30pm) and Singapore Sling (9.45pm).

There’s nothing more exciting than the sound of a sassy Rockabilly Filly out front of a serious posse of hot muso’s getting’ messy with their instruments!

Harry Deluxe is a raunchy retro-inspired songbird whose vocal talents rival some of the hottest swing and rockabilly icons.

Swingin' from Ruth Brown and Etta James to Janis Martin and Wanda Jackson this 'swingabilly filly' can belt out a ballsy tune that will knock the bobby socks off even the most mellow cats and kittens, and then soothe your every ill with sexy, soulful crooning.

Harry's hot blend of kitschy-cool classic covers and sassy original tunes make her one truly unique entertainer. A foxy female Brian Setzer - this chick can swing, rock and boy is she blue.

Harry Deluxe and the Cap Gun Johnnies are supported by La La's Python (9.45pm).
